Mr Thistlethwaith holds a Business Administration Degree from Indiana University where his major concentration was Real Estate Administration. He performs market analyses throughout the nation and continues to specialize in the financial feasibility and development of income producing real estate and franchised business ventures.
Mr Thistlethwaite syndicated income properties through Hunter-Thistlethwaite Interests, as well as developed more than 45 franchised properties throughout the nation. Gained broad-based experience in performing market analyses and feasibility studies while employed by Chicago-based Real Estate Research Corporation - (RERC) the nations largest and most respected real estate consulting firm. He participated as an independent contractor to Franchise Finance Corporation of America. (FFCA), the general partner of public partnerships marketed by E. F. Hutton; and performed market analyses for sale and build/leaseback transactions exceeding $200 million in value.
Market strength, economic and financial feasibility and locational strategy analyses have been performed for individuals and companies in more than 250 cites and 37 states throughout the nation. More than 1900 appraisals on income producing real estate properties, including equipment and business going concern have been performed for financial institutions, attorneys, trusts and individuals since 1988.
The prestigious professional designation of COUNSELOR OF REAL ESTATE (CRE) by the American Society of Real Estate Counselors is held by Mr. Thistlethwaite. Also, the designation of SPECIALIST IN REAL ESTATE SECURITIES (SRS) has been awarded to Mr. Thistlethwaite by the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute. The designation of SPECIALIST IN REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS (SRI) was awarded by the Real Estate Investment Association. These designations recognize the high level of knowledge and professionalism in the real estate investment and securities field. He is the sole designee in Indiana of both the SRS and SRI professional designations and one of only 11 CRE designees in Indiana. The professional appraisal designation awarded by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS of General Accredited Appraiser (GAA) is held by Mr. Thistlethwaite. The Environmental Assessment Association has awarded its Certified Environmental Inspector (CEI) and Certified Environmental Specialist (CES) designation to Mr. Thistlethwaite.

Members of the preeminent society represent professional expertise in a broad spectrum of real estate specialities and services. The Society is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Only 900 designations nationwide.

Specialist in Real Estate Securities (SRS) awarded by Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute of the National Associations of Realtors. This designation recognized the high level of knowledge and professionalism and experience in the real estate investment and securities field. Mr. Thistlethwaith holds the only Indiana designation.
Specialist Real Estate Investments (SRI) is awarded by the Real ESTATE Investment Association, based in Chicago, Illinois, REIA represents investors, syndicators, consultants throughout the nation.
General Accredited Appraiser (GAA) is awarded by the National Association of REALTORS the nations largest trade association. This new designation has replaced the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers which separated from NAR upon merging with the Society of Real Estate Appraisers.
